MAY 9 ELECTION IN CV GENERALLY PEACEFUL
No untoward incidents were logged during the conduct of Monday’s local and national elections in Central Visayas. Police and election officials said the political exercise last May 9 was generally peaceful, even in areas of concern: Bogo City, Daanbantayan, Madridejos, San Fernando as well as the towns of Poro, San Francisco and Tudela in the Camotes Islands.
