VOTE BUYING REPORTED IN CENTRAL VISAYAS

Amid reports on social media of alleged vote buying during the May 9, 2022 elections, the Commission on Elections in Central Visayas revealed that they indeed got information on sample ballots with stapled money. But in the absence of a formal complaint or a witness, charges can’t be filed against the candidates found engaged in such an illegal activity.
