Tech Mahindra takes down PLDT in MCBL Season 6

THE Tech Mahindra Tech Mighties prevailed over the PLDT Boosters, 65-56, in the Metro Cebu Basketball League Season 6 on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Alta Vista Golf & Country Club basketball court in Cebu City.

Christian Sollano notched 18 points, eight rebounds and two steals to lead the Tech Mighties to the victory in the intense affair.

In other games, the Smarties Apparel Army routed the Reds, 90-68, with Ramon Singson waxing hot and tallying 23 points, three rebounds, three assists and four steals.

The Vel-Pal Barakos was also dominant as it crushed the Unknowns 2, 96-76, thanks to the

all-around efforts of Jaypher Ocanada who had 24 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

RBH Construction prevailed over the Nikko’s Phenomenal with Ace Castro coming up with a double-double performance of 15 points and 10 rebounds.

And finally, Season 5 runners-up Angel Mary Pawnshop destroyed the Structured Wizard, 92-66. Rex Tuazon paced the team’s balanced attack with 14 markers.
