Bare AND Phoenix marathon prizes

ORGANIZERS yesterday bared that over P300,000 cash prizes will be up for grabs in the 2nd Araw ng Dabaw Phoenix Marathon that will hit the road on Sunday in an out-and-back course from SM Lanang Premier.

The male and female 42K champions will each receive P25,000 while runners-up will take home P15,000 apiece. The next three finishers will receive P10,000, P5,000 and P3,000. The sixth to 10th placers will pocket P1,500 each in the footrace jointly presented by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., Pioneer Insurance, SM City Davao and SM Lanang Premier in partnership with the city government of Davao and organized by Vantage Sports Promotions.

All 42K finishers will also claim a medal, finisher’s shirt and certificate.

The male and female 21K champions will take get P15,000 each while the next four placers will go home with P10,000, P5,000, P2,500, and P1,200 each. Medals and certificates also await them.

The top five 10K runners will receive P5,000, P4,000, P3,000, P1,500, and P500 while first three 5K winners will get P3,000, P2,000, and P1,000. In 3K, the first three finishers will win P1,500, P1,000, and P500. They will also receive certificates.

The biggest delegation will also romp away with P7,000 cash.

Interested participants may still sign up until Friday at Phoenix Acacia, Phoenix Lanang Mega Station, SM City Davao and SM Lanang Premier. Registrants will also receive Adidas Shop discount stub.

Registration fees are P199 (3K, 5K) inclusive of singlet and certificate, P399 (10K) inclusive of singlet and certificate, P599 (21K) inclusive of singlet, medal, certificate and P799 (42K) inclusive of singlet, medal, finisher’s shirt and certificate.
