Davao Crocodile FC paces DFC league

THE Davao Crocodile Football Club (FC) grabbed back-to-back wins to grab the solo lead of the Davao Football Community (DFC) League that resumed at the Davao Crocodile Park football field over the weekend.

Davao Crocodile FC beat De Boerderij, 4-2, before defeating Belisario Futbol, 1-0.

Davao Crocodile FC, thus, garnered a total of 16 points following five wins, one draw and zero loss while 5-0-1 Instatech, which scored a twin kill over Real Davao (1-0) and Kilusang Magkaibiga­n Multi-Purpose Cooperativ­e (1-0), occupied the second spot of the current team standings with 15 points.

The 4-1-1 Solido FC took the third place with 13 points having blanked FilChi United, 2-0, and forced a 1-1 draw with KMMPC. Trailing behind were 2-4-0 Intangible­s FC (10 points), 23-1 KMMPC (nine points), 2-13 De Boerderij (seven points), 2-1-3 Belisario Futbol (seven points), 1-3-2 Tough D (six points), 1-3-2 Fil-Chi Amoc United (six points), 2-0-4 Real Davao FC (six points), 0-3-3 M7 United (three points) and 0-0-6 Davao Agila FC (zero).

In other matches, Intangible­s FC drew with Tough DFC, 1-1, before blanking Real Davao, 2-0; Fil-Chi United downed Davao Agila FC, 1-0; De Boerderij whipped M7 United, 3-1; Tough D tied with M7 United, 1-1; and Belisario Futbol edged Davao Agila FC, 1-0.

Organizers said games will resume on March 17 to give way to the Araw ng Dabaw football tournament slated this weekend at Tionko field.
