NOW YOU SEE ME

The Four Horsemen, a magic super-group led by the charismatic Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), performs a pair of high-tech magic shows, first astonishing audiences by robbing a bank on another continent, and then exposing a white-collar criminal and funneling his millions into the audience members’ bank accounts.

FBI Special Agent Dylan (Mark Ruffalo) is determined to make the magicians pay for their crimes – and to stop them before they pull off what promises to be an even more audacious heist. But he’s forced to partner with Alma (Melanie Laurent), an Interpol detective about whom he is instantly suspicious. Out of desperation he turns to Thaddeus (Morgan Freeman), a famed magic debunker, who claims the bank heist was accomplished using disguises and video trickery. One thing Dylan and Alma agree on is that the Horsemen must have an outside point person, and that finding him (or her) is key to ending the magicians’ crime spree. Could it be Thaddeus? Or Alma? Or could it really be...magic?

As pressure mounts and the world awaits the Horsemen’s spectacular final trick, Dylan and Alma race to find an answer. But it soon becomes painfully clear that staying one step ahead of these masters of illusion is beyond the skills of any one man-or woman.

THE HANGOVER PART III

From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures comes “The Hangover Part III,” the third and final film in director Todd Phillips’ record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

“The Hangover Part III” reunites Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha as Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug. Also returning to the ensemble are Ken Jeong as Mr. Chow, Heather Graham as Jade, and Jeffrey Tambor as Alan’s father, Sid. Joining the starring cast is John Goodman.

In the aftermath of the death of Alan’s father, the wolfpack decide on an ‘intervention’ and convince him to go along with it, taking Alan (Zach Galifianakis) to get treatment for his mental issues. But things start to go wrong on the way to the hospital as the wolfpack is assaulted by a masked gang and Doug (Justin Bartha) is kidnapped by Marshall (John Goodman) who demands that they find Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) and the stolen gold bullion or else he will kill Doug. They have no idea how much angst they are about to experience.

STAND UP GUYS

“Stand Up Guys” follows Val (Al Pacino) and Doc (Christopher Walken) over the course of a single night.

Doc is a retiree who spends his days painting sunrises, watching cable television, watching what he eats and waiting for his erstwhile partner in crime, Val (Pacino), to finish his prison sentence for a crime they committed together. After 28 years, the old-timer gangster Val is released, and announced that he’s “ready to party.”

So in what would be like a last hurrah to celebrate their friendship, reminisce about old times, and essentially complete one’s last supper with meals, drugs, getting laid and the whole shenanigans, Stand Up Guys follow a series of random adventures, from stealing cars, to picking up girls, and spend what would be their best time together before the inevitable had to happen.

JURASSIC PARK

The movie, considered as the landmark in the use of computergenerated imagery, returns to the big-screen in 3D format.

During its initial release in 1993, Jurassic Park received positive re- views from most critics and grossed over $900 million worldwide, surpassing another Spielberg film, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, to become the highest-grossing film released up to that time (it was surpassed four years later by Titanic).

Jurassic Park won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Visual Effects.

On a remote island, a wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening the attraction to the public, he invites a top paleontologist, a paleobotanist, a mathematician/theorist, and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park – and help calm anxious investors. However, their park visit is anything but tranquil as the park’s security system breaks down, the prehistoric creatures break out, and the excitement builds to surprising results.
