Public reminded of banned items inside cemeteries
THE city government of Davao reminded the public of the prohibited items inside public and private cemeteries today and tomorrow.
Banned are: gambling, bringing of all kinds of bladed and deadly weapons, loud sound system, liquor, and prohibited drugs, and other items that might cause public nuisance.
“The police will strictly implement the prohibition of said banned items,” the City reminded.
Public assistance desks will be set up in all cemeteries. Contact numbers of caretakers/in charge of each cemetery were also posted on the official Facebook account of the City Government of Davao.

Meanwhile, more than a hundred traffic aides will be deployed on streets leading to cemeteries in the city today and tomorrow
Manuel Española, administrative officer of Traffic Management Center (TMC), earlier said a total of 180 TMC personnel will be deployed on November 1 and some 110 on November 2.
The TMC also issued its Oplan Kaluluwa 2013 rerouting scheme.
For vehicles from the south area going to Davao Memorial Park, private and public jeepneys are rerouted to Quimpo Boulevard, to Tulip Road and then exit to Durian St. beside Water District.
For vehicles coming from the north going to Davao Memorial Park, drivers may pass along University Avenue, to Mangga St., to Juna Subdivision, to McArthur Highway. Wireless Cemetery A one-way vehicular traffic is also implemented on Fr. Selga St. from F.Torres to Circumferential Road.
However, no entry for all pedicabs, tricycles and other vehciles from 1 p.m. onwards along Fr. Selga St. from F. Torres St. to Circumferential Rd. Chinese Cemetery A one-way vehicular traffic is also implemented along circumferential road from Gahol St. to Bacaca Road. Buhangin Cemetery No entry for all vehicles along Cabantian-Jehovah Road leading to Buhangin Memorial Park. ANC Egoongan while seized from Aungon was t he profit for the 20 chickens worth P1,750.
The suspects are currently detained at the Toril police station while the stolen chickens were returned to the complainant. RSA
