2 men sued for slay try
TWO men are facing charges before the City Prosecutor’s Office after they were accused of trying to kill a security guard last October 8 at Purok 1, Brgy. Tacunan, Tugbok District, Davao City.
Facing attempted homicide charges through regular filing are Marlon Labastida Mansada and Franco Empresa Carbajal. The two are facing raps for jointly mauling and stabbing Ricardo Pele¤o Alinsud, a 43-year-old security guard of Opscor and a resident of Purok 4, Dream Village, Brgy. Malagamot, Panacan.
Investigation conducted by PO2 Antonio Pino of Tugbok police revealed that the incident happened at around 4:45 p.m. The complainant was at Brgy. Tacunan to visit his mother when the suspects suddenly mauled him for no apparent reason.
The two suspects pulled out an undetermined bladed weapon and jointly stabbed Alinsud. The security guard, fortunately, evaded most of the attacks of the suspects.
Alinsud made a run for it but the suspects were still not contented as they boarded a motorcycle and chased the victim. The chase, however, was cut short as personnel of Tugbok police led by SPO1 Ariel Urquiza responded at the scene.
The suspects left their motorcycle and fled on foot instead while the victim was taken to the Southern Philippines Medical Center after sustaining minor wounds.
Police recovered the Honda XRM with plate number LQ6060 and engine number XRM 110ME7091357 driven by Mansada and owned by a certain Roland Alabrina, of Purok Malinawon Mauswagan, Maragusan, Compostela Valley.
Police are still conducting further investigation for the arrest of the suspects.
