2 killed, 1 hurt in 2 shootings

TWO men were killed while another was wounded in two separate shooting incidents in Davao City on March 1.

The first incident happened at around 12:41 a.m. at corner Chico Street and Santol Street at Luzville Subdivisio­n in Panacan, where the victim was described as 5’2 tall, ages 18-20 and has a tribal tattoo on his left leg and a tattoo of a woman’s body in his left forearm.

Record from the Sasa Police Station showed that the victim succumbed to lone gunshot wound in his head. A witness also said he only heard one gunshot. The Scene of the Crime Operative (Soco) recovered one empty shell.

According to the witness, he did not see the killer because he was inside his house and just went out upon hearing a gunshot. It

was then when he saw the victim already lying on the street.

The second incident took place at Bread Village in Buhangin about 7:30 p.m. The victim was identified as Felmark Perez Aguilar, alias Mac-Mac, 20, laborer, of Block 3 in Buhangin.

The report from Buhangin Police Station showed that the victim was just standing by at Fely Milino Store when two unidentifi­ed men wearing jacket and bonnet approached and shot him. The victim succumbed to several gunshot wounds in his head and his body.

During the incident a cook identified as Tony Long Paler, 56, was hit by a stray bullet on the left side of his waist. He was brought to the Southern Philippine Medical Center (SPMC) and has been declared out of danger.

Personnel of the Sasa Police Station and Buhangin Police Station are already conducting investigat­ion so as to identify and locate the whereabout­s of the suspects. ICT
