AdDU wins DFA U13 tourney
THE Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) Blue team emerged champion in the Davao Football Association U13 Girls Cumulative Festival last Saturday at AdDU Football Field, Matina.
In t he s e mi- f i nals, AdDU Blue defeated AdDU White, 4-0 while Sakya FC dominated against AJJ Footbelles, 6-0.
The championship round was played between AdDU Blue and Sakya FC but the latter could not stop AdDu Blue’s attack to finish the game, 2-1 with Ysabel Aquino of AdDu Blue as the Most Outstanding Player.
Sakya FC bagged the first runner-up award while AJJ Footbelles and AdDU White settled for the third and fourth places, respectively.
Certificates were given to all the players while the champion team AdDu Blue received a trophy and medals.
Hinex Khanj United meanwhile, posted their first win at the expense of Faith Academy with a 5-1 win in the DFA U17 Girls League at Faith Academy Football Field held morning on the same day.
The lone goal of Debra Son from Faith Academy was not enough to overturn Hinex player Sanaa Jikiri’s brace and Nina Ricci Yanto’s hat-trick, to claim Hinex victory.
Lady Knights FC won by default against Brgy. Lasang FC to post their third straight win in the league while Brgy. Lasang is trailing with three straight losses.
