Paulo Avelino willing to wait for KC Concepcion

ACTOR Paulo Avelino said he is willing to wait for mega daughter KC Concepcion and revealed that he exerts effort to stay connected with the television host/actress.

At the thanksgiving press conference of primetime series “Honesto” last Friday, the 25-year-old actor said the communication lines are open between them, especially now that KC is in the United States.

“We communicate. I wouldn’t really call it relationship. Well, I would say yes (that I’m dating her). Now, pareho kaming busy. I’m doing shows here and she’s in the US taking classes. Siguro masasabi ko ngayon na I’m inspired,” he said.

KC left Manila in January to take a short course in professional development in New York City. But Paulo said the actress is going home from time to time.

The actor added that even though she’s away, he still tries to be there for KC.

“Winter doon so parang medyo malungkot. Parang you just wanna inspire someone. She’s been inspiring me also, giving me advice,” he said.

When asked what attracted him to the actress, the actor said he’s drawn not only by KC’s looks, but also her intelligence.

“With Kristina, what I like best about her is we can talk about anything. We can talk about something stupid and dire-diretso lang ang conversation hanggang nag-e-evolve into something ang usapan, something more rational.”

When asked if he’s not worried that KC might meet someone in the Big Apple, he replied: “Let’s see. Kung ‘yon naman talaga ang ibibigay ng tadhana at ng Diyos, huwag nating pigilan.”

Meanwhile, Paulo was asked on his relationship with ex-girlfriend LJ Reyes. He said that things are okay between them and their main priority is their son, Ethan.

“We parted ways. Iba na po ang mga daan na tinatahak namin, pero nagkakaisa pa rin kami para maging magulang sa anak namin.”
