Duterte names Sun.Star columnist to DCWD board
DAVAO City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte appointed Sun.Star Davao columnist Serafin C. Ledesma Jr. as a member of the board of directors (BOD) of Davao City Water District (DCWD), replacing the late Atty. Charlemagne Aldevera.
Duterte announced Ledesma’s appointment during a press conference held at the Mandaya Hotel on Friday evening.
He said the appointment, which was signed on the same night, is effective until December 2016.
Ledesma will be representing the educational institution sector.
Aldevera, 64, died from a heart attack last month.
Duterte said Ledesma completes the current fivemember DCWD Board of
Directors that include Atty. Eliseo R. Braganza Jr. for civic sector, Ma. Luisa L. Jacinto for the women sector, Atty. Abdul M. Dataya for the professional sector, and Eduardo A. Bangyan for business sector. ANC
