P3-M shabu seized in Bataan

-

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Some P3 million worth of suspected methamphetine hydrochloride or “shabu” was seized by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Central Luzon Group (Pdea RO3) and Raidsotg of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) in Limay, Bataan last Sunday.

In a report furnished to Sun.Star Pampanga, PDEA RO3 Director Jeoffrey C. Tacio said that the joint anti-illegal drug operation resulted in the arrest of notorious drug dealers categorized as high value targets.

Tacio disclosed that the high impact operation was the result of a twomonth case build up by Raidsotg and PRO3 under Coplan First Salvo.

The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Roldan Lakandula y Cagungon alias “Dan Dan” and Marlon Dizon y David alias “Marlon.” The suspects are believed to be the primary suppliers of illegal drugs in the provinces of Bataan, Pampanga and neighboring cities in the National Capital Region.

Sunday’s buy-bust operation was conducted around 11pm at Barangay Alangan Unang Kanto, Mansteel Luz, Limay, Bataan, Tacio said.

Pdea agents posing as buyers of “shabu” completed a deal with the two suspected drug pushers. After the two handed a transparent plastic bag containing “shabu,” elements of Raidsotg and PRO 3 collared the suspects while in the act of consummating the offense, said Tacio.

Violation of Sec.5 in relation to Sec. 26 (b) of ART.II of R.A.9165 is being prepared for filing before the court against the suspects, he said. (JTD)
