THREE teenage men are facing charges before the Davao City Prosecution Office after getting arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at a lodging house in Brgy. 23-C Mini Forest along Quezon Boulevard, Davao City on Monday.

Facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are Sainodin Alonto Arab, alias Tarloy, 19; Junaid Pamilian Macaumbao, 19, and Amron Esmael Saumay, 18.

The three were arrested in a buy-bust operation launched by the Sta. Ana police station at Room 01, third floor of Allah Lodge, around 10 p.m.

Report of the Sta. Ana police revealed that a reliable informant told them of the teenagers’ involvement in the selling of illegal drugs. Operatives then told the informant to arrange transaction with the suspects. Cops made the arrest when Arab and Saumay handed out an elongated plastic sachet containing shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange of the P500 buy-bust money. Police also arrested Macumbao when one big sachet of shabu was recovered from his possession.

The three are currently detained at the Sta. Ana police station while the recovered drugs will be used as evidence against the suspects during court proceedings.

The teenagers are part of the nine suspected illegal drug pushers arrested in a string of buy-bust operations conducted by the Sta. Ana police.

Last Sunday, six suspected illegal drug pushers from Marawi City were arrested as P1.4 million worth of shabu were recovered from their possession.
