Everything started from a passion and love to cook until couple Glenn and Maria Corazon Bedaño decided to put up the famous Azon’s Boneless Lechon.

“We are into food business na mga 2009 na, may karenderya mi diha sa Buhangin so didto nagsugod ang business,” said Glenn.

Before they started their business, Glenn is a private employee, who most of the time, travels to different places and eventually tried their specialties.

“I used to travel sa iba-ibang lugar. Sa Cebu nako nakita ang boneless lechon, bale pasalubong ko lang siya, till we talked about the recipe, the process and gi-try nako.”

Glenn added that one time he decided to give it a try and re-invented boneless lechon after he tasted it in one of his trips.

“Hilig gyud mi og pagkaon, we love cooking during our free time bonding time namo na. So I invited my friends and nagustuhan nila ang lasa.”

With the positive feedback they receive, the couple introduced the boneless lechon in their carenderia, until they put up a food cart in the grocery area of Victoria Plaza near may Park N Shop.

The enterprising couple is also proud to say that they are the first to introduce boneless lechon in town.

Glenn also assured their client that they only use the first class type of meat, and their products underwent a certain process that retains the taste of the lechon.

“Basically ang menu, ingredients almost the same, but we make sure walay contamination. Ang klase sa karne lahi siya. Pinakaspecial ang process ug siyempre ang passion namo sa pagluto,” Maria Corazon added.

Aside from their crowd favorite boneless lechon, Azon’s also offers dishes that are made out of lechon such as Lechon Sisig, Nilagpang Manok and Red Lechon Sinigang.

“Di siya aslum kay ang gigamit namo is kamatis. So ang aslum niya mamaak lang sa dila, pero dili sa sikmura,” Glenn explains.

To compliment with their lechon recipes, Azon’s also offer Gulay ni Azon, like Gulay Salad, Ensaladang Talong, Laing and Manggang Buro.

I love dessert, so I also tried their Lechon ice cream!

Yes, imagine, eating an ice cream with a lechon flavor, interesting isn’t it?

Azon’s Lechon is located at JP Laurel Bajada this city, in-front of Davao Light plant.
