Zamboanga lawmaker opposes Aquino impeachment

ZAMBOANGA - Second district Representative Lilia Nuno, a Nacionalista Party (NP) stalwart, said she is not in favor to impeach President Benigno Aquino III.

Nuno made the announcement Saturday during the Issues in the News, a weekend public affairs program of the Zamboanga Press Club Incorporated (ZPCI) carried live over DXVP of the Catholic Media Network (CMN) radio program. Nuno said that not only her but including her colleagues in the NP are not and will not support any impeachment complaint filed against the President.

“Kami sa Nacionalista, we will not support,” Nuno said. At least three impeachment complaints had been filed against President Aquino.
