Man hacked
THE Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) is currently monitoring the condition of a man who was hacked during a drinking session where he was accused of being too noisy.
The incident took place last Saturday evening at Purok Tangkongan, DA Homes, Barangay Pampanga.
The victim was identified as Adriano Gamo Gorre, 19, single, a construction worker and resident of the area.
According to the initial investigation of Senior Police Officer 1 Dominick Patajo, investigator of Sasa Police Station, the victim was drinking with his friends when the suspect, Candido Papas, 52, approached to scold them for being noisy.
The group, however, became angry with the suspect.
They argued until the suspect went home. He returned later, however, with a machete, and hacked the victim in the shoulder.
The victim is currently under observation while the suspect voluntarily surrendered to the Sasa police.
