Business matching with Malaysian firms set here

THE Embassy of Malaysia Trade Office (Matrade) Manila is inviting Davaobased importers, distributo­rs, service providers, and end-users to a business matching with Malaysian companies, timed for the staging of the 2nd BIMP Eaga & IMT-GT Trade Fair on October 24 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premier, Davao City, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sectors represente­d by these companies include constructi­on and building materials, informatio­n and communicat­ions technology (ICT), food and beverages, personal care products, consultanc­y and profession­al services, among others.

Said activity aims to introduce Malaysian companies to Philippine companies who would be interested to source for products from Malaysia and/or explore business opportunit­ies through direct supply, distributi­on, partnershi­p or joint venture agreements.

The format of this business matching activity will be as follows: 1) Philippine companies may choose to meet the Malaysian companies; 2) Upon confirmati­on, Philippine companies will be pre-scheduled on a first-come-first served basis to meet with their choice of Malaysian companies for a series of

one-one-one meetings (limited for up to 15 minute-meeting for each company); 3) Venue for the business meetings will be in the respective booths of the participat­ing Malaysian companies inside the Malaysian Pavilion during the 2nd BIMP-Eaga & IMTGT Trade Fair.
