LIGHTEN BROWN SPOTS ON THE FACE
Dear Tiger Lily,
Now, let’s move on to the final episode of resolving those brown spots on your face naturally.
5. ALOE VERA
Aloe vera has long been known about its healing properties. This is also good for helping you get rid of those brown spots, especially when they are caused by sun exposure or sun damage. Here’s what you have to do:
a. Rub fresh aloe vera gel on those brown spots gently. Leave this for about 30 minutes before you wash it off with cold water. Repeat this twice a day for a month. Until then, you should be able to get some improvements that you want.
b. If you can’t get some fresh aloe vera gel, then, you can buy some aloe vera juice and dab them gently on those brown spots.
6. SANDALWOOD
This fights aging and can help you get those brown spots away. Here’s what you have to do:
• Get two tablespoons of sandalwood powder, two teaspoons of rose water, and one teaspoon each of glycerin and lemon juice. Mix them and apply this on the spots and allow it to dry naturally. Rinse with cold water. Repeat this a few times every week until you get rid of those brown spots.
• Another option is mixing two tablespoons of sandalwood powder, one tablespoon of orange juice, one teaspoon of lemon juice and the contents of two vitamin E capsules. Apply this on your face and leave it for 30 minutes before you wash it off. Repeat this some few times a week until you get improvement.
• Aside from doing the above rituals, before signing off to bed each night, massage those brown spots with some drops of sandalwood oil mixed in one tablespoon of olive oil or almond oil. Leave this overnight and wash them off in the morning.
7. CALAMANSI JUICE
This is one of my favorite because it’s quite easy. I simply squeeze in a couple of calamansi and apply its juice on the brown spots and or other dark areas which I needed to get lighter. I leave them overnight and I rinse them off in the morning. But, of course, you would need some patience as this will take about a month to see the results.
Of course, there’s a shorter way, but, you have to add in a tablespoon or two of sulfur powder and some drops of acetone. Mix them and make a paste. Apply this to the affected area for about 30 minutes to an hour before you wash them off.
