NO WEDDING BELLS YET FOR LLOYDIE, ANGELICA

KAPAMILYA actor John Lloyd Cruz has no plans of settling down soon.

But if that day comes, he wants the engagement to be private and girlfriend Angelica Panganiban will be the first one to know.

“I’m sure malalaman nyo din naman. Kung kailan, kahit ako hindi ko pa alam. So, dapat malaman ko muna, then malalaman niya and then malalaman ninyo. I think yun ang tamang process,” the actor said in an interview with Cinema News.

“I can’t blame you for asking kasi nasa tamang edad na ako and nasa tamang edad na kami. Pero wala pa. Wala pa,” the 31-year-old said, noting that they are still focused on work.

In a separate interview, John Lloyd said he’s very happy now that his relationship with Angelica is going strong.

Meanwhile, Angelica skirted questions about the latest issue involving ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay and the latter’s estranged wife, Mary Christine Jolly.

In the press conference of Skylight and Quantum Films’ “Beauty in a Bottle,” which premiered last Friday, the Kapamilya actress preferred to keep silent.

“Huwag niyo naman pong ipasa sa akin ang kasalanan ng iba. Hindi ko na po kailangang sagutin yun. Mapapahamak po talaga ako. So hindi ko na po sasagutin,” she said.

To recall, Jolly filed concubinage charges against Angelica and Derek at the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office.

Jolly cited Angelica’s tell-all in April 2013 issue of Star Studio magazine as evidence that the two “cohabited” in a house in Parañaque, despite the actress’ knowledge that Derek is still married to her.

Jolly also filed a complaint against Derek for alleged violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act. (Sunnex)
