Yamaha Tricity invades Davao

YAMAHA Tricity, a global product of the Yamaha Motor Company Limited, invades Davao City as the new city commuter to introduce unique dynamic movement and latest riding technology.

Yamaha, a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles and other motorized products, is making Tricity available in the country with over 500 units nationwide, 100 units of which are available in Mindanao.

“We are truly happy and excited to bring this new technology in the Philippines and finally it has arrived in Davao. Riders will feel a new way to move and stand out on the road with its unique style and innovative technology,” Peter Salvadico, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd, Mindanao Sales Manager, said yesterday at the Kapehan sa Dabaw at SM City Ecoland adding that it was conceptualized and created by the company’s own concept of ‘Refined Dynamism’.

Yamaha’s new innovation of modernity and elegance is made unique by the Yamaha-Exclusive technology dubbed as the Leaning Multi Wheel (LMW) that allow two front wheels to deal with changes in different road surfaces while keeping both tires in contact with the road as it leans. The new model has an overall length of 1,905mm., width of 735mm and height of 1,215mm with an electric starting system. It is available in all Yamaha 3s Shops nationwide with a suggested retail price (SRP) of P146,000 and comes in matte red and white color.

“We invite everyone to attend our grand test drive for you to experience it yourself the stability and new riding technology,” Salvadico said adding that the grand test drive will take place on June 27 to 28 at the SM City open parking C.

Salvadico also mentioned that the Yamaha Mindanao’s volume rate in all its motor products increased making it 20 percent share nationwide, double the figure of the company’s 10 percent of 2007.
