HOLIDAY ACHIEVERS
TOWARDS the end of May and at the start of June, several Holiday Gym staff and members went on to excel in their different fields. Marjun Balaite and Louie Pintor attended the Mad Dog Spinning Instructors Course held at Gold’s Gym in Cebu City last May.
The two successfully finished the training and went back to Davao equipped with more tips to further enhance their spin- ning classes as well as make sure of the safety of their participants in the classes they teach. On the other hand, several Dabawenyos participated in the Regent Foods 5150 Triathlon held at Subic Bay last June 5 to 8, 2015.
Several members of TRIAD, Davao Sunday Runners, and Team Trisibot among others, saw action in the event.
Jj Sarona finished strongly in 3rd place for male category age group 15-19 years old. Dolly Yuste was also a finisher in her first race in Subic, for olympic distance 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run. And before June ends, a Dabawenya was also part of the Philippine team who competed in the recently concluded SEA Games.
Holiday would like to congratulate Sydney Tancontian for winning silver in the Wrestlling Competition, congratulations also to her coach-mentor-father rolled into one- Holiday Judo Club Coach Paolo Tancontian.
