No water in Matina Pangi

THE Davao City Water District advised the public of a water service interrupti­on on August 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., affecting some areas in Matina Pangi particular­ly Grace Park Subd., Orange Grove Subd., Gaisano Relocation, Asico Village, NSDS Village, Tinago Drive, SK Compound, Guadalupe Village and portion of Matina Pangi Road from McArthur Highway to corner of Iñigo Village.

This water service interrupti­on will give way to the tapping of the newly installed 3-inch diameter Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipeline to the existing 3-inch diameter PVC pipeline for the mainline improvemen­t at Km. 7, Gaisano Relocation in Barangay Matina Pangi.

DCWD general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asked for the understand­ing and cooperatio­n of would-be affected customers.

He also advised them to store enough water prior to the scheduled water interrupti­on as water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
