Encantadia TO GET EVEN MORE EXCITING

-

Kapuso Network’s fantaserye “Encantadia” is expected to become even more exciting in the coming days.

In an interview with the cast on August 20 at Chippens Restaurant in Davao City, several revelations were made.

As new cast members are set to join the primetime series, actresses Kylie Padilla and Glaiza de Castro shared about their excitement.

According to Kylie, it is definitely something that every follower must look forward to, especially that highly-popular Kapuso actor Alden Richards will be joining them soon.

“Kami nga ay nagulat rin nang nakita namin sya,” the 23-year-old daughter of action star Robin Padilla shared. Kylie plays Reyna/ Sang'gre Amihan in the 2016 version of the hit fantaserye.

Last week, GMA TV’s evening newscast “24 Oras” disclosed about the appearance of the 24-year-old actor on the show as a Mulawin.

When asked if his participation in the cast would create an impact on how the show would go on and how it would be accepted by their viewers, Kylie was quick to say, “I think it’s gonna make an impact kasi nga mas nauna naman talaga ang Mulawin.”

It can be noted that Direk Mark A. Reyes already explained during his visit in Davao last June that the new version of the 2005 fantasy series Encantadia is actually a prequel as it is both a retelling of how "Encantadia" started and a sequel to what has already happened.

Meanwhile, Glaiza, who portrays the role of Sang'gre Pirena, shared that based on what Direk Mark told them, “ang mundo ng Encantadia at Mulawin ay magkakalapit lang.”

The cast noted that as days go by, they have been enjoying what they do even more, especially with how their characters have developed.

As with Ruru Madrid, who gives life to the character of Ybarro/Prinsipe Ybrahim/Kalasag, he admitted about his excitement for the coming episodes. For Migo Adecer, who plays the rich young man Anthony, being part of the show is definitely challenging.

The cast members of “Encantandia” were in Davao to join the celebration of the 31st Kadayawan Festival. ### For comments and suggestions, please feel free to reach me at mendoza.jennygrace@gmail.com.
