MAJA HAPPY FOR BEA, GERALD

-

MANILA – Maja Salvador has nothing against her former boyfriend Gerald Anderson, who is reportedly dating actress Bea Alonzo.

Anderson and Alonzo were in a short-lived relationship in 2010 but reconnected after they worked together on the movie “How to Be Yours” this year.

Meanwhile, Anderson and Salvador ended their relationship sometime last year after more than two years of being together.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News and other reporters at the sidelines of the “Ang Probinsyano” concert last Saturday, Salvador said she is all for the happiness of everyone, especially Alonzo.

“Gusto ko maging masaya ang lahat. Wala akong karapatan [pigilan] ang happiness ng isang tao. They are happy… lalo na si Bea. Si Bea sobrang special sa akin. From the start ng career ko, katrabaho ko siya. Yung ‘It Might Be You,’ sa teleserye nila ni John Lloyd (Cruz) ako nag-umpisa kaya sobrang special sa akin si Bea,” she said.

Asked if she didn’t get hurt when she learned that Anderson and Alonzo are going out, Salvador said: “Kung hindi pa ako naka-move on, siguro nahurt ako. Pero it’s been what? It’s been almost two years. Okay na.”

As a matter of fact, Salvador shared that she is now back on the dating scene.

“Marami namang special sa buhay ko. Basta masaya naman ako. May mga ka-text lang din tayo diyan. Meron namang nagpapaligaya ng puso,” she said.

Is the one making her happy nowadays not from showbiz?

“Secret. Sa akin na 'yun. Ipaubaya niyo na 'yun,” she said.

Meanwhile, Salvador also took the opportunity to clarify that there is nothing romantic going on between her and Cruz.

“Tinatawanan lang namin. Tulad ng sinabi niya, ang baduy. Pero wala kaming magagawa dahil nandito tayo sa industriyang ito. Malalagyan ng malalagyan ng malisya kung ano man ang pictures na i-post namin," she said.

Salvador shared that she and Cruz are really close friends, especially because they have the same handler.

"Meron namang hindi nakakaalam kasi kung gaano ka-close kaming dalawa, na sobrang lalim ng friendship namin and same handler kami kaya ganun,” she said.

Asked if she is open to the idea of Cruz courting her, Salvador said: “Hindi ko kayang sagutin talaga. Parang hindi ko talaga ma-imagine na si Lloydie na tinatawag kong itay and now, hindi ko ma-imagine na he is courting me. Hindi talaga.”
