PBB Kristine receives gift from showbiz crush

MANILA – Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Kristine Hammond got a sweet surprise as she appeared on the ABS-CBN morning talk show “Magandang Buhay.”

On Wednesday’s episode of the show, Hammond was asked about her celebrity crush.

“Si Ronnie Alonte po,” she said, referring to the member of the dance group Hashtags.

Little did she know that Alonte has a message and a gift for her.

“Hi Kristine, hope to see you soon,” he said in a video message. “God bless you and wish ko sana maging escort mo ako sa darating mo pa na pagmu-muse (God bless you and I wish I could be your escort in your future stints as a muse).”

Responding to Alonte’s message, Hammond said: “Nakakatuwa kasi taga-Biñan din po siya. Dati parang napapanood ko lang po siya sa mga laro niya and ngayon po, may message na po siya sa akin (I’m happy to hear from him because he’s also from Biñan. Before I only get to watch him play, and now he has a message for me).”

Hammond proceeded to open Alonte’s present for her, which turned out to be a volleyball. The 16-year-old student has always dreamed of becoming a volleyball star.

“Siyempre, gagamitin ko po kasi patuloy pa rin po ‘yung dream ko na maging volleyball star (Of course I will use this because I will continue pursuing my dream of becoming a volleyball star),” she added.

Hammond, who rose to Internet fame after a photo of her selling health drinks became viral, was evicted from the “PBB” house over the weekend.
