BRINGING it first in Davao City, Reel to Real 3D Tricks and Arts, the new three-dimensional (3D) museum promises to give Dabawenyos a whole new experience – play with arts.
Different from the traditional museums, the Reel to Real 3D Tricks and Arts enables visitors to jump into a painting, play with the sharks, dolphins and dinosaurs, indeed a whole new twist in visiting a museum.
“We are very excited about this as we are the first to bring it in the city,” Jesreel Vito-Shiki said in an interview with Sun. Star Davao.
She added that it was his Japanese husband’s idea of bringing the concept in Davao as they already have a business similar in Japan.
The establishment, which opened just last November 5, has 12 3D arts which are all shipped from Japan to here.
The million-worth 3D paintings hub is located in Warehouse unit-A Amber Street, RGA Village, Agdao, Davao City. It is open Mondays to Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Since the opening day, Shiki shared their business is gaining more and more popularity especially online as the photos of their visitors are shared thousands of times.
“Many Dabawenyos are happy that we already have this kind of business here because they don't have to travel to Manila or Cebu just to experience the fun that only 3D tricks and arts can give,” she said adding that they expect more people to visit the museum in the coming days and months.
The museum stands in a 500 square meters area, which can accommodate 50 to 60 persons. Entrance fee is at P100 for adults and P50 per person for children ages five to 12 years old. While four years old children are free of admission.
Shiki said that it took them one year of preparation before they opened the museum to the public.
“At present, we only have 12 3D arts but we are planning to add more 3D paintings,” she said.
