Why Daniel Padilla refuses to sing Bieber hit

MANILA -- While everyone else is going crazy over the latest pop songs, young heartthrob Daniel Padilla is staying old school with classic rock.

In an interview on "Gangdang Gavi Vice" on Sunday, the 21-yearold actor was asked by comedian Vice Ganda to sing Justine Bieber's "Love Yourself." Padilla, however, refused.

"Iki-clear ko lang ha. Wala akong against him," he said. "Wala akong problema sa kahit kanino. It's just 'yung music, it's not my type."

He explained that he is more inclined to singing old songs. "'Yung trip ko talaga is more on luma, 'yung mga lumang kanta," he said.

In a previous interview with MYX Philippines, Padilla said he listens to the likes of AC/DC, Oasis, Guns & Roses, Metallica and Linkin Park.
