Kylie pregnancy to affect ‘Encantadia’ rating?

With the recent report claiming that Kylie Padilla is now carrying the child of Aljur Abrenica, would it have an effect on “Encantadia”? If it would, how could it possibly impact the show?

Many fans were reportedly worried that the wellloved character of Sang’gre Amihan, portrayed by the 24-year-old Filipino-Australian actress in the Kapuso Network’s fantasy drama series, would die soon. Accordingly, there is a huge possibility that her character would be killed off, especially that she is rumored to be three months pregnant now.

Could this possibly happen next week?

With the leaked photograph showing a scene where someone might have died, a lot of the show’s followers immediately speculated that it could have been Amihan. However, its director, Mark Reyes, was quick to issue a statement.

"Sadly, a disrespectful 'guest' on our set leaked this photo. I would just like to point out that this picture does not end the story of Kylie's Amihan,” he said via a statement posted on GMA Corporate Communications' Instagram account @kapusoprgirl on Wednesday.

"There are still a lot of stories to tell between Amihan, Ybrahim, Lira and her sisters. Don't be disheartened. THIS IS NOT THE END of Kylie in the show,” he continued. "Keep believing in the power of Encantadia. We still have a lot of magic to do."

Kylie, Aljur engaged

On Tuesday, a day before the daughter of Robin Padilla celebrated her 24th birthday, her talent management revealed that she is already engaged to her 26-year-old boyfriend.

“The Vidanes Celebrity Marketing would like to announce to the great public the engagement of Ms. Kylie Padilla and Mr. Aljur Abrenica,” the company posted on its Instagram account.

Meanwhile, the actress took to social media as well to share her excitement about this latest development in her life.

“I know these past days have been rough but I can't wait for the day people get to know you like I know you. I can't wait to share how it happened. I'm just happy I am sharing it with you,” she wrote.
