Havaianas partners with Echostore
MT Martish Corporation, the ex- clusive sub-distributor of Havaianas in Southeast Mindanao, partnered with Echostore for this year’s Obrigada event.
Obrigada which means ‘Thank You’ in Portuguese is an annual gathering of loyal fans of the famous flip-flop brand, personalities and the media. This serves as a venue for the company to extend its gratitude to those who have been considered Havaianaticos.
MT Martish Corporation managing director Marga Montemayor-Nograles explained that Obrigada 2017, which took place on February 10 at the Echostore, is different from the previous ones since it embraced the theme of going organic.
“This year’s Obrigada serves as a venue for us at MT Martish to gather our friends from the local media, loyal Havaianas customers and personalities, and thank them for their support and contribution in the growth of Havaianas for the last 12 years in Davao,” Marga said.
Apart from enjoying discounts while availing for themselves limited edition Havaianas, guests were also treated to an afternoon of fun via a brief workshop by Yana Santiago of Olivia & Diego, a social business that works with communities to create upcycled jewelry made from fabrics from discarded cotton-knitted t-shirts.
The workshop showed guests how to recycle old fabric pieces and turn them into stylish anklets that will go perfectly with their favorite Havaianas pair.
Meanwhile, they also had the chance to taste the refreshing goodness of organic juices which were inspired by some designs included in the Havaianas 2017 collection.
