Meet Kiray’s Valentine date

MANILA - Couldn't find Cupid last Valentine's Day? He was busy making things work for Kiray Celis.

On February 14, while some were busy posting "hugot" quotes on their social media accounts, the 21-year-old comedienne was enjoying a date with fashion model Kirst Viray.

Celis even shared on Instagram the white rose Viray got her for their date.

"Kaya pala ang tagal... May pa bulaklak!" she wrote in the caption.

Viray, meanwhile, shared on Instagram a selfie with his Valentine date.

A culinary student, Viray hails from Pangasinan. He has appeared in numerous fashion shows, including Cosmo Bachelor’s Bash and Canada Philippine Fashion Week.

Last Friday, Celis greeted Viray on his birthday by sharing a video compilation of their candid moments together.

In the caption, Celis described the model as a "humble" man. She also asked him to stay as he is.

"Patuloy mo pang mahalin ang pamilya mo. Dahil yan ang pinaka gusto ko sayo. At pangako, sa susunod na bigyan moko ulit ng bulalak .... HINDI KO PARIN TATANGGAPIN! HAHAHAHA! See you when you get back, VIRAY. Love KIRAY! HAHAHAHA!" she added.

Although the two have yet to confirm the real status of their relationship, netizens have already expressed their envy for the young comedienne. Some, meanwhile, thanked her for giving them hope that Mr. Right shall come for them, too.

In an interview last June, Celis said she is prioritizing her family over love life.

"Mas gusto ko okay sila bago akong maging masaya. Kasi tumutulong pa lang ako ay masaya na ako," she said. "Saka na kapag mayaman na ako. Madali lang magmahal pero mahirap kumita ng pera."
