Hagonoy Negosyo Center opens
The Department of Trade and Industry in Davao Region (DTI 11) launched yesterday its Negosyo Center in Hagonoy, Davao del Sur.
The Negosyo Center in Hagonoy is the fifth in Davao del Sur, 22nd in Davao Region, and 250th in the country. The launching of the center was lead by DTI Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations Blesila A. Lantayona.
The center is located along the Hagonoy Crossing-National Highway at Brgy. Guihing, Hagonoy.
In a recent interview with DTI Davao del Sur Provincial Director Delia M. Ayano she said this is the first Negosyo center established in the province for 2017.
"We are looking into establishing three Negosyo Centers in Davao del Sur this year," Ayano said. The other two centers that will be established in the province soon are in Sta. Cruz and Sulop.
Prior to the Hagonoy Negosyo Center, DTI 11 have established centers at the Davao del Sur Provincial Office and Cor Jesu College in Digos City, Bansalan, and Padada.
For this year, DTI 11 is targeting 15 more Negosyo Centers in the region wherein four will be established in Davao del Norte, three in Davao del Sur, three in Davao Oriental, three in Compostela Valley, one in Davao City, and one in Davao Occidental.
“The Negosyo Centers are responsible for promoting ease of doing business and facilitating access to services to MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) like business name registration, business advisory services, and business information,” Ayano said.
The Negosyo Center is a one-stop business center which is responsible in promoting various DTI services, business consultancy and credit facilitation, monitoring and recommending business process improvement for MSMEs, establishing feedback mechanism among MSMEs, and conducting skills and entrepreneurial training, and other SME development services.
