Council defers discussion of Apo Agua request

THE 18th city council deferred the discussion of the request of Apo Agua Infrastructura Inc. (AAII) to allow the establishment of a hydro-electricpowered water treatment facility as a component of their Davao City Bulk Water Supply in Barangay Gumalang, Baguio District.

Rene B. Ronquillo, AAII president, has requested the council to allow the construction of a hydroelectric-powered water treatment facility in an agricultural zone.

The City Development Council (CDC) and Local Zoning Board on Adjustments and Appeals (LZBAA) has issued a joint resolution endorsing the application of the company for the “Allowable Use” of AAII for the establishment of water treatment facility as a component of Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project in Barangay Gumalang, Baguio District.
