Council defers discussion of Apo Agua request

THE 18th city council deferred the discussion of the request of Apo Agua Infrastruc­tura Inc. (AAII) to allow the establishm­ent of a hydro-electricpo­wered water treatment facility as a component of their Davao City Bulk Water Supply in Barangay Gumalang, Baguio District.

Rene B. Ronquillo, AAII president, has requested the council to allow the constructi­on of a hydroelect­ric-powered water treatment facility in an agricultur­al zone.

The City Developmen­t Council (CDC) and Local Zoning Board on Adjustment­s and Appeals (LZBAA) has issued a joint resolution endorsing the applicatio­n of the company for the “Allowable Use” of AAII for the establishm­ent of water treatment facility as a component of Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project in Barangay Gumalang, Baguio District.

In an online interview, Ramos told SunStar Davao they are expecting the same number, if not surpass, the number of attendees to the beach festival this year. Organizers promised a bigger and better 12th Sarbay Fest with more beach events and other activities.
