A P60-million building, which will house the Davao City Health Office (CHO), will rise along A. Pichon Street soon.

"If we finish the program of works, pwede na siya ma-download," Villafuerte said.

She added that the building will have six floors.

"The sixth will be the roof deck," she said.

The new building will be constructed within the area of the current CHO. While the construction is ongoing, CHO will temporary hold office at CAP Auditorium.

Department of Health (DOH) assistant secretary doctor Abdullah Dumama bared during yesterday's weekly flag ceremony that the DOH will provide the funds for the building construction.

Urban health centers for Marilog, Baguio, Tugbok, Calinan, and Toril were funded with P10 million each under the Health Facility Enhancement Program.
