EACH child has the right to education. Educate the youth that says it all. Our children are our future. There will be free education from kindergarten up to high school level. The K to 12 Basic Education will be fulfilled. We just finished the Senior high school graduates. There will be a school in every Barangay all over the country.

The government will finance this undertaking. This will end the perennial problem of lack of schools. Children traveling to far off schools passing through tight rope bridges, one rope to walk on and another on top for the hand to hold on to with the raging currents of river below will end. Teachers are trained to teach the IP’s to know their tribal customs and traditions and ideologies. There are plans to increase the monthly salaries of teachers to meet their daily needs and to attract more high school graduates to study education.

The Deped introduced a program to have incentives for Medicine and Law careers. A qualifying exam is given to select the scholars who will get free education and in exchange will be willing to join the ‘’Doctor for every barrio” humanitarian service. Some poor sick people die without seeing any doctor to cure them. The lawyers will serve in the PAO group to help the poor who cannot get lawyers because they cannot afford their fees. They are defended in courts when they have cases held against them. Sometimes the rich guilty persons sued for wrong doings are set free through manipulations of their clever lawyers.

Another program is concerned about the import of GMO’s of onions and garlic. These are detrimental to one’s health. The Department of Agriculture introduced a program to teach the local farmers to plant organic onions and garlic which are good for our health. Monetary aid of 25,000 pesos per hectare is provided by the Agricultural Credit Policy Council. They teach the farmers more profitable yields by the cross drift irrigation technique and mulching substances deposits in their plots.

Land Bank and DBP adopt Universities with aid to encourage Filipinos with entrepreneurial skills to adopt schools to make progress in community developments. An example is Enactus Phillips, a non- profit organization to enable students to carry out projects to generate jobs. This is for society’s underprivileged sector. There are 47 colleges included here. ALS (Alternative Learning System) at sea was initiated in Malalag was done by the CLC (Community Learning Center). They teach out of school youth working in the fish cages at Malalag Bay. IMC (Institutional Managers Classes) are conducted to teach the youth in simple terms after every fish feeding time. They conduct classes in the boat.

For the Marawi graduates they were advised to be stronger and better. We embrace peace and help in developing our rich natural resources largely untapped for the brighter and progressive future of the Bangsamoro people . DILG aims to tap academe for infrastructure designs. The students can design projects as their OJT units. They can plan zoning of areas for residential and commercial hubs. The road widening. This will be valuable for the communities in the districts.

Lastly, I have a personal concern for this. I read in the netizens’ news feed that UPLB is offering free tuition to all undergraduate students. My grandchild is studying Veterinary Medicine in this school. This is good news. She was also a scholar of the Southern Philippines Science High School in Davao where everything was free also.

With all these accounts of education from Kindergarten to College tertiary level we are assured of a peaceful and progressive country as envisioned by us, the citizens. For comments text cp. no.09202112534.
