THE Davao City Economic Enterprise is preparing the tax order of payment (TOP) for the 599 vendors allowed to sell at the Roxas Night Market.

"Nagprepare nami sa TOP na P750 per month per stall, and there are 599 stalls as of the first batch kay three batches mana, humana man ta sa third (We have already prepared the TOP worth P750 pesos per month, per stall and there are 599 stalls for the first batch, there are three batches so are back in the first batch, since were done with the third batch)," Maribeth Lumactod, chief of CEE, told Sun. Star Davao Wednesday.

Lumactod said that uniform fees will be implemented even to the referrals.

Ancillary Services Unit Head Rhodelio Poliquit, in an media conference, said more vendors have been noted due to the referrals of Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio who allowed some evacuees from Marawi to sell in the area.

Poliquit said that a total eight vendors in the first batch are confirmed to be Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Marawi.

More vendors were also recorded in CEE data compared to the 438 vendors declared by Poliquit last Septmeber 1.

Lumactod said that the batches will rotate again after three months and the TOP they prepared is good for the same number of months.

CEE is in charge of TOP issuance to renters and based on their guideliness, the renters are required to show the reciept of their payment to their office.

She also said that they work hand in hand with the Ancillary Services Unit who are also given copies of those who fail to pay.

"The ASU also checks the receipt," she added.

She said that they coordinate properly with the ASU to check those who are recommended to be blacklisted for not following the imposed regulations.
