9th Eaglemasters on Sept 15-17

-

THE 9th Davao Eaglemasters, Inc. Tournament is set on September 15-17 at Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club and Apo Golf and Country Club.

Hole in one prizes: a Toyota Vios, P100,000 cash, a motorcycle and a big flatscreen tv.

Team competition: From what I heard, it is five players to a team. Please check with the organizers for clarification.

Individual competition (stated in poster): Championship Flight is 0 – 4.0 , Flight A is 4.1 to 8.0, Flight B is 8.1 to 14, Flight C is 14.1 to 21, and Seniors (55 up). No Ladies Division.

Lugi na naman ang ladies. Wawa. Why? In the absence of a ladies division, the ladies will be combined with the men. And in the par 3’s, if there is an expensive prize for hole-in-one, and an insurance company is involved, the ladies tee for those par 3’s will be moved back which will make the holes more difficult for the ladies.

Remember, the handicap of the ladies is based on the ladies’ tee, not the men’s tee. And now, they are required to tee off from the men’s tee. Shouldn’t their handicaps be adjusted?

In Apo Golf Club, for example, check the scorecard. The easiest hole (handicap18) is hole number 11. Yes, that hole where you have to cross the pond. The ladies tee is around 115 yards from the hole. But if you move back the ladies tee to 150 yards. Kawawa ang ibang mga ladies. Stressful to think which club to use.

Some might not be able to cross the pond, unless they use a driver . For a 16 handicapper, for example, if her usual score in hole number 11 is a bogey or a par, with the tee moved back, it might become a double bogey or a triple bogey. How do you expect her to score okay—okay enough to compete with the men?

We demand justice! #Justice for 'K' …Kababaihan sa golf. Libing? No, not libing. Lunod. Maraming malulunod na bola sa tubig ng hole number 11.

Now, for the team competition, guys, do you have a lady player in your team? Diba unfair?

For the ladies who are complaining, and for those guys who think they have no chance at winning. I have good news. The Giveaways! Ecco footwear with matching Ecco bag. In their poster, the selling retail price is P14,495.

Think of it as shopping. You shopped. You played in two beautiful courses. You have a chance at winning a brand new car. And you have a chance at winning great prizes at the Awards Night. This tournament is more about meeting old friends, making new ones. Camaraderie!

Goodluck participants!
