Low pressure to no water, Oct. 13

DAVAO City Water District advises that low water pressure to no water will be experienced in some areas served by Lubogan Water Supply System (WSS) on October 13, 2017 from 12:01 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Affected areas are Bankas Heights, Green Praire Subd., Batulosa Village, Kristina Homes, Rosalina Village 3 Phase 2, IWHA Subd., Pepsi Cola Village, Greenland, Summerland, D’ Garden, Espino Subd., Sto. Rosario Village, Dusnai Village, Unggay Compound, Albeza Compound, Divino Compound, Tayo Compound, Bartolini, Bliss Compound, Ideal Village, Saavedra Neighborhood Assn. Inc., Villa Mercedita, Ocean Cove 1, Torrejos Compound, and Paderog Compound.

DCWD’s Production Well No. 2 under Lubogan WSS will be affected by

Davao Light and Power Company’s (DLPC) power interruption on said date needed to facilitate the reconstruction of DLPC’s primary line. Although the power cut is shorter in duration, DCWD needs additional time for re-switching on of the affected facility, pressure build up, and line delivery, thus the longer duration of water service interruption.

On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers and advises them to store enough water prior to the scheduled water service interruption. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
