Peso Comval holds Galing Mason training
COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE - The provincial government of Compostela Valley under Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy through the Public Employment Services Office holds orientation for “Galing Mason Training” in partnership with Holcim Philippines on October 6, 2017 at the Capitol Lobby, Cabadianan, Nabunturan.
According to Miles A. Atugan- Senior Labor and Employment Officer, the training is for the benefit of the Reformed Voluntary Surrenders (RVS) for Oplan Liwanag program and for the rebel returnees throughout the province.
He added that the provincial government target is 80 participants who will undergo training for 2 batches, with 40 participants each.
Atugan explained that the HOLCIM Phils. Company will be the one to provide all the construction materials needed for the duration of the training. He also assured the trainees that the DMCI construction firm will hire the participants who passed the standard evaluation who meet the requirements of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) with the corresponding issuance of the National Certificate-II (NC-II).
Meanwhile, Nicki Virina-Stakeholder Relation Officer, Holcim, said that the participants will undergo 20-day training for safety precaution inside the working area, and proper use of mason tools as well.
