Peso Comval holds Galing Mason training

COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE - The provincial government of Compostela Valley under Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy through the Public Employment Services Office holds orientatio­n for “Galing Mason Training” in partnershi­p with Holcim Philippine­s on October 6, 2017 at the Capitol Lobby, Cabadianan, Nabunturan.

According to Miles A. Atugan- Senior Labor and Employment Officer, the training is for the benefit of the Reformed Voluntary Surrenders (RVS) for Oplan Liwanag program and for the rebel returnees throughout the province.

He added that the provincial government target is 80 participan­ts who will undergo training for 2 batches, with 40 participan­ts each.

Atugan explained that the HOLCIM Phils. Company will be the one to provide all the constructi­on materials needed for the duration of the training. He also assured the trainees that the DMCI constructi­on firm will hire the participan­ts who passed the standard evaluation who meet the requiremen­ts of the Technical Education and Skills Developmen­t Authority (Tesda) with the correspond­ing issuance of the National Certificat­e-II (NC-II).

Meanwhile, Nicki Virina-Stakeholde­r Relation Officer, Holcim, said that the participan­ts will undergo 20-day training for safety precaution inside the working area, and proper use of mason tools as well.

Renida May M. EscaliasCS­R and Admin Services Department Manager said that this is also another support that they give for Comval.
