CSC approves Samal LGU, Igacosea's CNA

ISLAND Graden City of Samal – The local government of Samal Island and Island Garden City of Samal Employees Association (Igacosea) had recently received the approved Civil Service Commission (CSC) Registration Certificate for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) during the turnover ceremony last October 23, 2017 at the Samal Gymnasium.

The approved CSC Registration Certificate for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) between the Island Garden City of Samal and Island Garden City of Samal Employees Association (Igacosea) is pursuant to the amended rules and regulations of Executive Order No. 180.

“Congratulations to all of us especially to our employees, this is one of the many fights that we achieve," said Samal City Mayor Al David T. Uy

With the approved CNA, the local government of Samal Island and Igacosea are now obligated to the agreement and should perform the commitment stipulated.

“On the behalf of the CSC, I would like to congratulate the entire city of Samal Island for having sustained, strive harder of protecting the rank and file, of taking care of the human resources in the local government," said Nelly L. Esperanza, Director II CSC Field Office-Davao del Norte.

The local government of Samal Island will give benefits, trainings, bonuses, and recognition to their employees. In return, the Igacosea will also commit to the needs of the institution and the employees will give their excellent performance towards their job.
