Dealer prices of fertilizers down

DEALER prices of fertilizers in Davao Region had mostly gone down since this September compared to their prices September of last year.

According to the data provided by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) of the average prices of fertilizers in the entire region, the fertilizer Ammophus (16-20-0) had decreased by 5.89 percent to P810.80 per 50 kilogram sack from its P861.50 per sack price September last year.

Ammosul(21-0-0) however increased by as much as 10.36 percent now priced at P485.60 per sack compared to its P440 per sack last year. Complete’s (14-1414) price went down by 4.40 percent to P993.20 per sack from its last year’s price of P1,039. Urea (450-0) is now pegged at P765.20, which is about 1.30 percent higher compared to its September 2016 price of only P785.00

In Davao del Norte, their Ammophos is at around P820 per sack, Ammophos is priced at P820 per sack, Ammosul at P464 per sack, Complete at P978 per sack, and Urea at P806 per sack.

Ammophos in Davao del Sur is priced at P770 per sack, Ammosul at P456 per sack, Complete at P944 per sack, and Urea at P756 per sack.

In Compostela Valley, their Ammophos are mostly priced at around P774 per sack, Ammosul at P464 per sack, Complete at P974 per sack, and Urea at P772 per sack.

In the entire Davao Region, the most affordable fertilizers, as per the same PSA data can be bought from Davao Oriental with their Ammophos priced at only P740 per, Ammosul at only P444 per sack, Complete for only P920, and Urea for only P752.
