THE Kabisig People’s Movement is set to stage a one-stop government information exhibit dubbed as Kabisig Philippine Government Expo and Trade Fair on April 17 to 19, 2018 at Abreeza Mall.

The annual fair features the profiles, service facilities, programs, projects, accomplishments, products, and services of different government agencies.

The theme for this year is “Pamahalaan at Mamamayan: Kapit-bisig sa Pagbabago at Kaunlaran."

Kabisig Chairman Daniel C. Guillen said there are over 200 government agencies and over a 100 government owned and controlled corporations (GOCC) that the public is not aware of.

He said the fair will serve as a venue for the public to be aware of these agencies and their accomplishments, which are not usually publicize in the media.

Guillen said they also want the public to gain appreciation of the good works and services of these agencies.

The fair, which aims to bring the government closer the people, will also be held on June 19 to 21, 2018 and July 10 to 12, 2018 at Trinoma Mall in Quezon City for Luzon and on October 15 to 17, 2018 at SM City-Cebu for Visayas.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has also extended his support to the Kabisig fair.

“May this expo and trade fair update our countrymen on various agencies’ profiles, mandates and accomplishments as well as their products and services. I hope that many of our kababayan will take advantage of this one-stop shop and avail of the amenities that our public offices offer,” he said.
