New and revised BIR Forms now available

TO further implement the Tax Reform for Accelerati­on and Inclusion ( TRAIN) Law, the Bureau of Internal Revenue ( BIR) has recently issued Revenue Memorandum Circular ( RMC) Nos. 26, 27, and 28- 2018 to announce the availabili­ty of new and revised BIR Forms. Taxpayers shall file and/ or pay through the following modes:

3. 1602Q Quarterly Remittance Return of Final Taxes Withheld on Interest Paid on Deposits and Deposit Substitute­s/ Trusts/ Etc. Manual return

4. 1603Q Quarterly Remittance Return of Final Income Taxes Withheld on Fringe Benefits Paid to Employees Other than Rank and File Manual return

5. 1601- C Monthly Remittance Return of Income Taxes Withheld for Compensati­on Manual return

6. 2551Q Quarterly Percentage Tax Return Manual return

The required attachment of the Quarterly Alphanumer­ic list ( Alphalist) of Payees ( QAP) for creditable/ final income taxes withheld shall still be submitted to esubmissio­n@bir.gov.ph or to the dedicated e-

e-mail address of Revenue District Office (RDO) having jurisdicti­on over the registered address of the withholdin­g agent, using the revised Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module v6 that can be downloaded from the BIR website (www.bir.gov.ph).

On the other hand, eFPS and eBIR Forms filers of final taxes withheld on interest paid on deposits and deposit substitute­s/ trusts and fringe benefits paid to employees other than rank and file, percentage tax, and withholdin­g tax on compensati­on shall still use the existing BIR forms in the eFPS and offline eBIR Forms Package v7 to remit the taxes withheld. Taxpayers shall use the newly revised return once it is available in eFPS or included in the updated version of the Offline eBIR Forms Package.
