Davao pugs beat foes in Bucana

DAVAO City pugs Raymond Albupera, Andrey Fornes and Jet Fornes won their respective bouts in the just-concluded 81st Araw ng 76-A Invitational Boxing Tournament held at the Kasilak gym in Barangay 76-A Bucana.

Albupera, a Davraa 2018 gold medalist, won a unanimous decision win over Alvin Sumadlayon of General Santos City while Fornes scored a split decision victory over Glen Villagracia.

Jet Fornes, for his part, defeated Jasper Moda in the event sponsored by barangay captain Lando Trajera.

In other bouts, Christian Dalut of General Santos City beat Ivan Revilla of Davao City via technical knockout (TKO) while Christian Dapidran of Bansalan subdued Alvin Gonzales of Davao City via decision.

Christian Betonio of Panabo City stopped Jon Dapidran via TKO as Lorenz Prevendido of Bansalan clobbered Harry Tumandan of General Santos City.

Arden Ayuba of Baganga demolished Nico Isigne of Davao City while Danica Masalino of Baganga defeated Aliya Revilla of Davao City via TKO.

Jaypee Enguito of Baganga also forced a TKO win over Michael Angelo Alibong of Davao City while teammate John Lloyd Mangob thwarted Dabawenyo Rocky Lariosa.

Cyril Isaac Revilla, meanwhile, won over Chito Niñal while Christian Canillo outclassed Cyril Ian Revilla. ABM
