The figure shows that from the 28 drug surrenderees in 2017, 17 enrolled in the program and 12 successfully finish the recovery phase.

“There are 8 more clients that we need to reach-out and engage in the program and I am counting on to our 12 constituents of CBRAP to talk and convince the others to come out to the open and work with us,” said barangay captain Gorre.

“Every individual regardless of race and status has inherent worth and has the capacity to change. It may be that we need to help them realize their potentials by giving them opportunities and resources for a planned change,” AVP Sitti L. Apadan of UM underscored. Pag-amUMa is a holistic program which seeks to contribute in the wellness of biopsychosocial and spiritual being of the clients and their families.

The reformists who completed Phase 1 are set to continue their treatment within 18-month period for the after-care program. Services such as medical including drug testing, Social including employment and income generation, spiritual services and recreational services will be made closer to them for their gradual reformation and betterment of their lives and their families.
