Water interrupti­on in Matina, Langub

Davao City Water District advises its customers of a water service interrupti­on tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. affecting some portions of GSIS Heights Subd., specifical­ly the Streets of Polaris, Comet, Pluto, Mercury, Mars, Virgo, Eagle, Aquarius, Saturn, Jupiter, Planet, Galaxy, Milkyway, Surveyor, Apollo, Ranger, Telstar, Oak, Pisces, Capricorn, Rhine, Mapple, and Willow.

Also affected are portion of Phil.-Japan National Highway (from corner Langub Road to Green Valley), some Brgy. Langub areas (Sitio Mohon, San Nicolas Homeowners Assn., San Vicente Homeowners Assn., Langub Elementary School, and Green Valley), West portion of Las Terrazas, and the entire Royal Pines Subd., Santos Cuyugan Road, White Rock, Shrine Hills Road, Matina Hills, and Jack’s Ridge.

The interrupti­on will give way to the disinfecti­on and cleaning of GSIS Reservoir No. 2 as part of DCWD’s commitment to ensure safe and drinkable water.

On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asks for the understand­ing and cooperatio­n of would-be affected customers. They are also advised to store enough water prior to the scheduled water interrupti­on. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
