AboitizPower subsidiary Therma South, Inc. (TSI) helped more than 250 Grade 10 and 12 students of Inawayan National High School (INHS) become interview-ready through a Resume Writing Workshop held on August 15, 2018 and a Mock Interview on August 29 to 30, 2018.

“I was really nervous before the interview started, but the HR personnel from TSI were really helpful and reassuring. This experience will really give me confidence when the real job interview comes along. Hopefully, I’ll do great and give myself and my family a better future,” said Jerra Aila Mamar, a Grade 12 student from INHS.

Apart from the resume writing workshop and mock interview, TSI and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. have been implementing a 5-year technical-vocational (tech-voc) program in INHS. Just this year, three fully-equipped techvoc labs have been turned over to the high school with a population of 1,300 students.

“We place a lot of faith in the youth, that is why part of our promise of advancing business and communities is to empower students and hopefully give them the best chance of a better future,” said TSI Vice President and Plant Manager Valentin S. Saludes III.
