Most Dabawenyos have their own memories of Antonio’s Bar & Grill since it opened in 2006. And more memories will be made as the homegrown restaurant is cooking a new experience for its loyal and would-be diners with its brand re-launch.

Relaunched on September 12, 2018 at the SM City Davao, the restaurant now called Antonio’s Progressive Filipino Fare, boasts of a fully renovated restaurant, updated service standards, and of course more delicious Filipino fare.

“As a Blue Post Group Restaurant Concept, we need to keep Antonio’s exciting and relevant to our consumers. We had a good 12 years operating Antonio’s Bar & Grill and a chunk of our knowledge in the restaurant industry we owe to Antonio’s. The rebranding is also an opportunity for us to improve on our products and service and overall brand equity,” President and CEO of Blue Post Group Anthony Ang said in a statement.

The restaurant is part of the Blue Post Group Restaurant Concepts, the same company behind Blue Posts Boiling Crabs & Shrimps and Union Market.

Bannering the tagline: Lami pero Lahi (Uniquely delicious), Antonio’s Progressive Filipino Fare will offer a Filipino comfort food with a different and interesting take.

The dishes are strikingly familiar but with a splash of creativity and ingenuity characterized by the use of unexpected ingredients, cooking methods, presentation or combination of the above-mentioned. Jumping off from this mindset, menu items both old and new will have the same care and thoughtfulness in the preparation.

Antonio’s classics like Bulalo, Pinaputok na Manok, Krispy Pata and Lechon Kawali are still a hit, probably tastier than the last time. And with the addition of new dishes like Sotanghon Sugpo, Pansit Habhab, Gising-gising among others, meals at Antonio’s will always be exciting and festive.

The new designs projects an old-world hacienda vibe but with modern lines and elements to make it lively, fresh and relevant. The new layout also allows for a spacious dining area and gives an overall airy look.

Antonio’s Progressive Filipino Fare is located at the West Wing Ground Floor of SM City Davao.
