NABUNTURAN’S TOP 1 DRUG PERSONALIT­Y NABBED

The top 1 in the priority target list of the Nabunturan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and his three other cohorts were arrested during an entrapment operation on Saturday evening, October 27, here in Davao City.

Police Chief Superinten­dent Marcelo C. Morales, regional director of Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 identified the target as Marjun M. Hingpit, 31, resident of Block 79 Lot 8 Deca Homes Tigatto, Davao City.

He was arrested during the buy-bust operation after he sold a small transparen­t plastic sachet containing white crystallin­e substance suspected to be “shabu” in exchange of P1,000 to an undercover operative.

Likewise, his three cohorts namely Julious B. Guibone, 25, male, single and resident of Block 50 Lot 38, Deca Homes, Indangan Davao City; Lloyd Oliger Hingpit, 25, resident of Block 79 Lot 8, Deca Homes, Tigatto, Davao City and; Jonnah Belle Hinampas, 24, a resident of Purok Navy, Nabunturan, Compostela Valley were caught in possession of another sachet of suspected shabu with overall estimated value of P58,000.

The operation was conducted around 5:45 p.m. by the 1105TH MC Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB 11) and Regional Police Drug Enforcemen­t Unit (RPDEU) 11, in coordinati­on with Buhangin Police Station of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), Nabunturan Municipal Police Station, and Philippine Drug Enforcemen­t Agency (PDEA) 11.

The arrested suspects were brought to Buhangin Police Station for documentat­ion and will be subjected for medical/ physical examinatio­n pending their temporary detention.

Cases for violation of section 5 and 11 of RA 9165, otherwise known as Comprehens­ive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.

“We once again urge the public to continuous­ly support us, if you have any informatio­n relevant to our anti-drug and anti-criminalit­y campaign, do not hesitate to report to your nearest police station or thru our PNP Hotline Numbers and PRO 11 social media accounts. Together, we will end this war on drugs,” Morales said.
