In promoting agricultural productivity among farmers, the environment must still be at the top priority, a business executive said.

Envireau Pacific Incorporated (EPI) marketing head Cyrene C. Ramirez underscored the importance of maintaining an ecologically sound environment as this will also help benefit farmers in the long run.

“What sets us apart from our competitors is that we genuinely care about the future of the environment and the health of our end users so we provide them with organic alternatives of their usual synthetic and toxic chemicals,” Ramirez said.

EPI offers Polydex bacteriostatic algaecide which is used in killing unwanted organism in Dabawenyo farmers’ growing animal farms. Polydex is used for animals for its drinking water disinfectant, cage and hallway disinfectant, water pipeline disinfectant and odor eliminator. Polydec is widely used for irrigation system and water pumps.

To ensure proper agricultural waste management, Envireau offers Biodex, a bacteria regulator with a non-foaming low-ph wash. Biodex removes odor gases which may cause harm to people who might be exposed with the harmful gases.

In the aim to provide a healthier ecosystem, EPI also offers a copper ionization system which uses a low voltage current to free copper ions into the water. This helps in destroying harmful bacteria and algae.

As an alternative, the ionization system minimizes the usage and consumption of chlorine and other unhealthy chemicals found in water.

“We are looking at the future where the farmers will have excellent quality harvests in great volume, but also ensuring that our environment is in good shape and so are our farmers. Lastly, we envision a future where eating healthy and organic products is a norm and not just an option and luxury for others,” Ramirez said.

EPI is located at Babista building, C.M. Recto corner Palma Gil Street, Davao City.

What sets us apart from our competitors is that we genuinely care about the future of the environment and the health of our end users so we provide them with organic alternatives of their usual synthetic and toxic chemicals.
